In traditional linear guide designs, the steel balls roll between the guide rail and carriage. At the contact point, the relative speed of the steel balls becomes twice their rotational speed, creating significant stress. This excessive localized pressure accelerates wear and shortens the service life of the guide.
The BGC series addresses this challenge with a built-in lubrication mechanism. A thin layer of lubricant is maintained between the steel balls, forming a protective oil film that absorbs friction and minimizes direct steel-to-steel contact. This not only reduces wear but also ensures smoother and quieter operation.
